Today I decided that I wanted to buy a grown-up pursey thing since I'm 25 and still carry around bags that would better suit a teenager. I went to TJ Maxx and didn't see anything that I liked, except for bags that are similar to ones that I already have. They did have a wide variety of black patent leather bags, but that's not really my style. I came home and started looking around on Amazon and they have a lot of cool grown-upish bags! The only problems are that the bags that I like are either a wee bit out of my price range or they have one thing I don't like about them, like tassels or a weird closure. I just want a nice bag that embodies my Gayleness, is that too much to ask for?

I totally forgot to post about the Smashing Pumpkins concert!
Phillip and I went to Charlotte to see The Smashing Pumpkins at Oven's Auditorium last month. That place is so clean and it smells like a hotel! Anyway, it was a good show. The only thing that I'd really complain about is the fillers when they'd play their instruments for what felt like forEVER before going into a song, or ending a song. Before the encore, there was 30 minutes of nothing but instrument playing and that got old fast. I also would have liked to hear more songs from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Adore, but that's okay. The encore was fun! They did a cover of "In The Summertime" with kazoos. It was cute.
We ended up sticking around after the show, waiting for Billy Corgan to exit the building. Phillip took some pictures with my cell phone. This picture was taken after Phillip said something to Billy about letting him get a good picture. It would have been a good picture if it hadn't been taken with my cell phone, I think! :)
In other news, I'm sure for sure going to be graduating after this semester as long as I pass all of my classes! Woo! I'm halfway to a bachelor's degree after 7 years. I'll get there eventually.

Hello Gustav!
Don sent me this little video of Gustav:
It's mostly rain and wind, because that's how Gustav rolls in New Iberia. The dogs that you hear belong to Don's aunt, not Gustav. He must have left his dogs at a pet hotel and spa for this trip.
