I took this picture at the Jungle Gardens on Avery Island in Louisiana. I love how it turned out and wanted to share it. :)

I'm home from Louisiana! Got back on the 16th, atually. I had a great time and I hated leaving but I had to get out of there before I gained 500 lbs. Beignets, boudin, hot tamales, crawfish and beignets...it was pure cajun heaven. Plus, I missed my family, obvi., and I'm too poor to pick up and move!

I went shopping after work last night and used coupons and it was awesome!! I saved $8.75 and that's nothing to sneeze at!

My keyboard just broke!! I fixed it.

I had to go to work this morning for a couple of hours, what fun.

School is going well. I'm passing my classes with flying colors! I signed up for my summer classes last week. I'll be taking Math For Dummies 102 and Public Speaking *cringes*. I guess if I'm going to become a world famous anthropologist I need to know how to speak in front of people who are not my friends and family about things that they may or may not agree with.

I'm so going to be hating myself in a couple of hours. I can't get to sleep so I'm ripping CDs to listen to tomorrow and picking out which DVDs I'm going to take with me. I also decided that I can't go to sleep with wet hair because it'll look like crap when I wake up.

I haven't talked to Don AT ALL today. I hope he knows when and where to pick me up tomorrow! He's been out with his sushi homeboy(s). I thought for sure he'd be home by now. I bet he's really out on a hot date with his big black girlfriend. ;) I have to make sure to memorize the words to "Music Is My Hot Hot Sex" so I can sing it to Don throughout our 2 1/2 hour drive to his house. Well, except for the part that's in Portuguese because I don't even understand it.

~3 hours until I'm planning on "waking up".

I bought some Lemonade Girl Scout cookies to take with me. I was so happy when Leann told me she had them because I was afraid they wouldn't get here in time for my trip.

Don just texted and asks me to send him the address to the train station in New Orleans. Already beat you to it, tard! You'd have known that if you checked your e-mail! :oP

I can't find my Zoolander DVD. GAAAAH.

Laura, I think this is the type of gun that you should have.  You might have to move to Switzerland in order to own one though because it's banned in the US.

I had tests last week. I think they went well. I will find out for sure tomorrow.

I'm leaving Greenville at 5:00 Saturday morning to go visit Mr. Don for a week! Yay gumbo! Yay spring break! Yay time off from work! Yay Don, I guess! ;)

I'm not really looking forward to leaving my house at 2:30 Saturday morning to drive to Greenville all by my lonesome. I did manage to drive all the way to Louisiana by myself last year though, so I'll survive!

One of my friends posted a link to her new favorite comic strip, it's called garfield minus garfield. It's pretty funny, I think!
